Westcliff High Old Girls Annual Lunch 

When: Saturday 19th October 2024     Time: Doors open 12.00pm, seated @ 12.30pm, ends 4pm

Past pupils are warmly invited to step back into the old school hall and join us for the annual WHOGA lunch. Guests will be able to catch up with friends over a delicious three course meal with drinks available from the cash bar. 

Tours of the school will be available following the lunch and guests will also be able to enjoy a display of archive photos from across the decades. The lunch is a great opportunity to catch up with old friends, take a look at your old classrooms and see how the building has developed. 

It was fantastic to see so many new faces last year and we'd love to see the hall packed once again with past pupils. Whether you've joined us before, or you've not returned to WHSG since you left, get your ticket today and spread the word amongst your friends. 

MENU 

Starters

Oak Smoked Scottish Salmon and King Prawn Salad - bound with lemon mayonnaise and sun-dried tomatoes served on a bed of mixed lettuce leaves

Warm Tartlet of Sun-Dried Tomato & Brie (v) – served on a crisp salad with a homemade red onion chutney

Serrano Ham Wrapped Pillow of Pork Pate – served with a side salad and roasted garlic and onion chutney with ciabatta toast

Main Courses

Ale Braised Blade of English Beef - served with a roasted vegetables and Port Wine sauce

Poached Fillet of Scottish Salmon - topped with a paprika and rock salt rub served on a bed of sweet potato and potato mash and lemon warm butter sauce

Stuffed Roasted Red Peppers (v) - filled with fine ratatouille topped with cheddar and mozzarella

Desserts

Crème Brûlée - served with hedgerow fruits and vanilla cream

Summer Fruit Cheesecake – served with forest fruits and a rich dollop of vanilla cream

Creamy Biscoff Tiramisu- served with fresh strawberry and whipped vanilla cream

Coffee or Tea & Chocolates

Melon is available as a starter or dessert if none of the options are suitable.

DRINKS - Wine, prosecco and soft drinks will be available to purchase.

RAFFLE – A cash raffle will take place to raise money for the WHSG Hardship fund. Prize donations welcome on the day.

SEATING - Please specify when booking if you would like to be seated with a friend so that we can accomodate your request. Don't worry if you are coming on your own or in a small group as we will endevour to seat past pupils as near to your era as possible.

BOOKING - Simply click the "Book your ticket here!" red button at the top of this page and follow the on screen prompts. You will be asked to select your menu choices and specify if you have any dietary requirements. Note that you can book for a group of friends and that the lead person booking will need to specify food choices for all guests when booking.
