Written by past pupil and local historian Judith Williams, this book recounts the school’s journey through the eyes of the girls and teachers from when it first opened in 1920 to becoming the successful grammar school it is today. Including over 80 pages of beautiful archive photos from across the decades. A must read for any past pupil who will no doubt be able to connect with much of the content and enjoy reflecting on the fascinating history of our much loved school.
Please note we are most grateful to the author, Judith Williams, for kindly requesting that all proceeds from the sale of the books are donated to WHSG and for dedicating her time to researching and producing the book. All proceeds will be used to enhance facilities for pupils.
