What a wonderful evening we had celebrating 100 years of WHSG. It certainly was worth the wait!

After three date changes and one pandemic we finally got to host our Centenary Ball in November and what a celebration it was. Past pupils, parents, past and present staff, governors and our generous sponsors BTMK Solicitors joined us to celebrate 100 years of WHSG in style. Hosted at The Boundary in Southend, guests enjoyed a drinks reception and delicious three course meal before dancing the night away.

Local band Broadway Band got everyone up on their feet and the PTA did a wonderful job of decorating the venue. Just over £4,000 was raised by the PTA and we are most grateful to all those who supported the event by either attending or donating a raffle or auction prize. Huge thanks to BTMK Solicitors for being the main sponsor and to MWS Accountants for sponsoring the drinks reception.
