It was lovely to see such a range of past pupils attending the annual WHOGA lunch this year.
Guests enjoyed a delicious three course meal and had the opportunity to spot themselves in the whole school photographs from years gone by, see the examples of previous uniforms on display and look at the scrapbooks compiled when the school was evacuated to Derbyshire during the Second World War.
After the meal, the headteacher, Mrs Matthews gave a short speech, guests sang the school song and then had the opportunity to look around the school, reminisce about old classrooms and teachers and see the many changes that have taken place since some of them were last here.
Look out for tickets for the next lunch in 2024. Information will be sent out on this website as well as the school's social media accounts in the summer. We are very keen to reach as many of our old girls and boys as we can.
Take a look at the gallery below and we hope you can join us for the next one.
